We are looking to add to our growing team. Currently our correctional facility is seeking a Mental Health Counselor with appropriate experience for the Correctional setting.
*** AVAILABLE SHIFT IS: Mon - Fri DAY SHIFT ***
**** CORRECTIONS EXPERIENCED HIGHLY PREFERRED ***
The essential job functions are but not limited to:
· Develops and implements programs within the unit to meet the individual needs of the inmates
· Plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the security of the unit and institution by his/her contact with the inmates, officers, and staffing
· Gathers data and prepares required reports as directed by the CMO to report on the inmate's progress during regularly scheduled progress reviews
· Helps to prepare inmates with all areas of rehabilitation needed and in general the preparation for release
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
